I spend $ on gems and buy power packs with those gems in Fringo. I enter an event and I am not allowed to use the 66 power ups left in my inventory. Justify THAT!

You’ll need to make sure the Power Ups you have can be used on the island you’re playing on. When you select an island to play in Fringo, all of the Power Ups you can use are displayed before clicking Play.

Lets take this to another level.
The cost of gems. $20 for gems that I use to buy charms at charm parties …gone within minutes.
Lower the cost of gems please.

So you are saying do not enter special events in Fringo because the power ups I paid for are not available.
Yeah so. I have decided that I will no longer buy gems. Todays deals offer 3,840 gems for $50. Offer me 12,000 gems for the same price and maybe we can make a deal.
Would it be possible to create an “event pack” of power-ups during special events containing only the ones needed for the event? I think that would be a popular purchase.

Sorry sweety but you have no choices of what power up you get when purchasing. It is a crap shoot.
actually you do, you can pick the island you want and each island has specific charms for that particular island
so when you buy power ups for specific islands you will only get those power ups specific for those islands
each island is different so there is a degree in strategy on how you buy your power ups
