When I sign into Vegas World, if I have to walk away for a few minutes it logs me off the site?

No you do not have to when your back , you see that you must sign back in , yust do this and all be oke , thank you for posting on this site , win big all the way , 
To log out of your account, click on the Vegas World menu, at the bottom is the log off button. Make sure you know your name and password to be able to sign back in.
I’m not a computer person, but there is a way to set your computer to remain idle and not log you out for a longer length of time. You can also set it so you don’t show as AFK for longer times. Look at your settings on your computer.
