greetings, everyone
i invite dialogue and would appreciate to hear your suggestions for staff on how to prevent report button being misused by players, especially with false reports
most reports i have made are about concerns with players being under 18, caught making false reports and therefore misusing purpose of report button, going against code of conduct and/or using cheat (a hacking) engine which violates policy of game
even so, i think staff may benefit hearing any concerns since i still catch little intervention and hear of it being used improperly
with that, i’m fully aware the younger players may use discord to exchange conspiracies and slander players which vw unfortunately cannot track or hold accountable
thanks for your time and yes, everyone invited for any suggestions how to prevent misuse of a button that is meant to help protect players’ safety, not become part of personal quarrels or mistrust

False reports should be a violation of VW rules. First time offense should be a warning for filing a false report , possible temp reporting restriction, lose option to file rpts for a period of time. Should have to call into VW to make a rpt, date, time, etc.
Temp account suspention, knowingly files false rpts to harass another player- moderators may issue a short suspension 1-3 days.
longer suspension or ban if behavior continues or is clearly malicious, as some peeps may try to get another person banned intentionaly, the act could be banned longer or a permanent ban in extreme cases. I am sure VW has all our chats on record an stored, therefore VW can go back an review that date, time, and convo of those individuals etc. this would include messages in chat room, priv messages, group chats . Enforcing rules should apply and taken seriously, otherwise there will be consequences. If a player repeatedly files a rpt against same person moderators should consider whether this is a targeted harassment and act accordingly, I know peeps make false rpts and they are the ones who are the perpertrator involved, best to review chat logs , in some instances. An other thing is to Block the user, this way they can no longer interact with you directly… Good Luck everyone.

I love you guys (other than I have a hard time actuially talking to someone. Sometimes phone doesn’t work. & Sometimes I’m too busy to call. I tried to quickly do a charm party to get a chance at a leprachaun & it was the middle of the night That took me a few dys to recover from husband’s surgery so I was kind of loopy but I know you would have walked me thru it. The other thing I was gong to call about is the Redeem coupon code. Everytime I have tried to use one that a friend has given me or I have from the settings area, I run into problems & think I can make a quick call & never get around to it. So I know it is MMMMMEEEEEE! but you guys are the ones that spoiled me, lol. Life has been kind of hard lately with me not being able to see w/ cataract surgery & husband’s thyroid surgery (yeah, cancer so there will be radiation. So I may not be calling you soon. But know most of us OLD people appreciate you all & all the patience you have shown us
