Charm Settings Menu

I would like to make a few suggestions regarding the Charm Settings menu.

On the Charm Settings pop-up menu (below the Auto Equip Charms checkbox), only three charm names are displayed and the scroll moves way too fast when accessed on a computer. I can understand if this is done by design for tablet or phone users, but it is not desirable for computer users. Therefore, I suggest the following:

(1) Check the user device for device type

(2) When device = “computer”, expand the length of the pop-up to show at least five charm names

(3) When device = “computer”, reduce the scroll speed by 20%

Run a few tests and adjust accordingly. I think this will improve the user experience.

@Nucky_Thompson, I am on a laptop (a small one). I only see the three charms, but my scroll speed is normal. I can go slow or fast, however I move it. Could it be a setting on your personal computer?

Hi BeckyB3, I am using a MacBook Air and scrolling with the trackpad. I do not find that adjustments to trackpad settings will slow down the scroll speed of the Charm Settings menu. Let’s assume for a moment this is the lesser issue and the number of charm entries (3) is more important. I believe showing five or six charm entries will make the menu easier to use.

I agree with you also, sometimes it is frustrating.
