Welcome to VW. Sometimes it isn’t as easy to recognize scammers because we often ask each other where we are from, our age and stuff, but NEVER give out your address or phone number!!!

These are RED FLAGS- I would not share the following: real name, home address, phone number, workplace, email address, passwords, FINANCIAL INFO, or your precise location. IM so Glad VW provided this info, you can never be to safe while online, always good to be on alert for any questions that seem to personal. If they are persistant, report to VW and walk away, dont feel obligated to provide personal details. Set boundries- tell them I’m just here to play games, block if you have to… SHOUT OUT TO VW FOR KEEPING US INFORMED. THANK YOU !

I created a specific email that I only use for VW friends, and only very special friends. Thanks for your pointers. We all have to be careful.

I have a feeling that Scammers maybe more inclined to target a newbie vs someone who has been here awhile- either way BE SAFE

Now that I’ve seen this yes, I believe I was targeted & didn’t know it… Started 3 months ago!

If it is still going on report asap to VW with names, dates, pics of conversations, etc. The best way is to click on the person and click “Block and report” give details for VW
Another thing is if VW deems a person as a Scammer block their IP address, so they cant keep creating other avi to continue coming back scamming others.
